Over the years, this book has been used as a reference to words, forms and interpretations and as a guide to methods of delineating land boundaries through the written word.

Many individuals have expanded their description wroting through the application of principles propounded herein. Fundamentals do not change but time and custom exert an influence upon their interpretation and use.

Laws are changed, supplemented and in some cases are deleted. Court cases affect the interpretation of laws and consequently the application of the principles involved.

Questions have been asked concerning some of these matters. With this in mind, the contents have been carefully reviewed. Some explanations have been revised or expanded for clarification. References to codes have been updated.
