NYSAPLS Meritorious Service Award - Established in 1989, this is NYSAPLS highest honor. It is awarded to a NYSAPLS member who has demonstrated exemplary service and dedication to the surveying profession and in particular, the association. Surveyor of the Year - this NYSAPLS award was created in 2007 to recognize one professional land surveyor who has best supported and promoted the land surveying profession. Click here to review the award criteria and selection guidelines.
Associate of the Year - NYSAPLS created this award to recognize and honor an associate member who has made significant contributions to the profession, their employer and/or the public. This award will be presented to an outstanding leader who demonstrates a deep commitment to professionalism and career advancement in land surveying. NYSAPLS Lifetime Achievement - This is awarded to an individual whose achievements in his or her career contributed to the advancement and recognition of the land surveying profession. Candidates are not required to be members of the association, but must be licensed. Additional information on award criteria can be found here.
Friend of the Association - this awarded is presented to an individual or business that supports the land surveying profession through active involvement/affiliation with NYSAPLS. Award criteria and applications can be found here.

Arthur D. Shaw Memorial Fund scholarships - Scholarships are awarded annually to students enrolled in a land surveying study program. Applications are available here in PDF format and should be submitted to the NYSAPLS office no later than November 30.
